The World Games 2017

CLIENT:

The World Games 2017

AREA/SCOPES:

Communication strategy, PR, Media Relations, event

WHAT THE CLIENT EXPECTED:

Creation of a competition for the mascot of The World Games 2017 and design of communication activity to support it.

EXECUTION:

For The World Games 2017 sports event, one of the biggest athletics events in the world, we developed the mechanics of a competition for the event’s mascot; we created the relevant communication strategy and translated it into reality.

The event’s ambassadors Piotr Socha, Adam Ptak, and Maja Włoszczowska were introduced to the public at the press conference held in The Contemporary Museum, whose attendees were also informed about the upcoming competition. Of course, the conference was also attended by those who our communication targeted – kids and youths. The President of the city Rafał Dutkiewicz handed mega-crayons to them, following which the children listened to a short lecture delivered by Professor Anna Kramm from Wrocław’s Academy of Fine Arts and then got down to drawing their first competition entries.

After that, the TWG2017 banner and Mr Rafał Dutkiewicz left the venue to visit Wrocław’s schools and nursery schools.

Starbucks

AREA/SCOPES:

PR, Event

WHAT THE CLIENT EXPECTED:

Preparation of the campaign launch and communication with the media.

EXECUTION:

You don’t just drink coffee at Starbucks Oławska Reserve – you experience it. The place is a café catering to discerning coffee aficionados.

We had the pleasure of organising the opening of this unique model café, previously applied in Amsterdam and Moscow.

We were responsible for selecting and inviting guests and journalists, as well as creating the musical setting and developing the event programme. Each guest had an opportunity to taste the unforgettable flavour of coffee, enjoy the place’s atmosphere, and meet the best coffee masters.

The event was supported by public relations activities.

In addition, we sent gifts with fragrant coffee and a bean of the Hawaiian Kona Coffee to people active in Wrocław’s media, culture, and arts milieus.

Pasaż Grunwaldzki

CLIENT:

Pasaż Grunwaldzki

AREA/SCOPES:

PR, Event, CSR

WHAT THE CLIENT EXPECTED:

Organisation of an event to mark the beginning of the school year.

EXECUTION:

Kids often neglect their school duties and physical activity, which is why we organised a special event and SCR actions for Pasaż Grunwaldzki. The actions, carried out under the motto “PE or Wi-Fi?”, aimed to show to children that there is life beyond the Internet.

We began the event with a parade of a 100-strong group of coaches, athletes, and schoolchildren and youths inside the shopping centre. Next, people visiting the shopping centre had an opportunity to try their hand at sports. Humanitarium and EIT + Research Centre prepared workshops and presentations concerning the mixing and separating of colours, muscle sores, and man’s physical activity, while Wrocław’s mathematical portal showed to the attendees how to learn through play using board games and abacuses.

Additionally, the Grand Tournament of Schools was held, in which schoolchildren competed with one another on creativity, knowledge, and fitness.

Throughout the event, volunteers collected money for the needs of a foundation organising after-school activities for children in difficult circumstances. The initiative aimed to raise 3,000 PLN, but over 10,000 PLN was donated thanks to the generosity of the shopping centre’s customers.

Mariusz Czerkawski was the special guest of the event.
